TECK - Sparwood Mine

In 2018, I achieved success by completing an OFA 3 course, enhancing my skills and knowledge as a medic. This accomplishment led to a pivotal role as a medic contact at a mine in Sparwood. Within this position, I took charge of running mine roads around the mountains, ensuring safety protocols were followed diligently. Additionally, I undertook the responsibilities of a safety supervisor and medic, demonstrating my commitment to promoting a secure working environment and providing medical assistance when needed.

During my short stint at BC Ambulance, I had the opportunity to explore the fast-paced world of emergency medical services, gaining insight into the dedication and skill required in the field. I observed paramedics in action, learning about their life-saving procedures, split-second decision-making, and the intense coordination required to handle emergencies. From understanding the inner workings of an ambulance to witnessing firsthand the challenges of patient care, the experience was both eye-opening and inspiring. It deepened my appreciation for frontline healthcare workers and left me with a newfound respect for the critical role they play in the community.

Administering laser treatment for addictions through Lasoir Quits is something I take great pride in, as it offers a powerful, non-invasive approach to helping individuals break free from their dependencies.

This innovative therapy uses low-level laser technology to stimulate specific acupuncture points, promoting relaxation, reducing cravings, and supporting the body’s natural detoxification process. Seeing clients regain control over their lives and embrace a healthier future is incredibly rewarding. It’s fulfilling to be part of their transformation, providing a safe, effective, and compassionate solution for addiction recovery.
