As the founder of BARCS Rescue, my dedication to saving dogs extended beyond simply rescuing them; it was about providing a forever home filled with love and compassion. Over the years, my house became a sanctuary for countless dogs in need, with dozens passing through its doors. Recognizing the challenges faced by senior dogs and those deemed less adoptable, I made it my mission to give them a second chance. These "seniors and assholes," as some might label them, found solace and acceptance in my home. At one point, I proudly cared for a pack of twelve, each one bringing their own unique personality and story to our family. Through patience, understanding, and unwavering dedication, I witnessed these once-overlooked dogs flourish, proving that every dog, regardless of age or temperament, deserves a chance at a happy, fulfilling life
